Job description

Chief Operating Officer

We’re supporting a fast-growing international digital marketing business in the search for a Chief Operating Officer to take the lead on both operational performance and commercial growth.

This is a role for an experienced operator who is comfortable moving between strategy and execution. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how the business operates, strengthen its service offering, grow its client base, and build the systems and culture needed to scale across international markets.

The right person won’t be someone who simply oversees operations from a distance. We’re looking for a commercially minded leader who is prepared to make decisions, challenge the status quo, build accountability, and stay close to the numbers and the people driving them.

The Opportunity

As COO, you’ll have broad ownership across the division, with responsibility for growth, profitability, client performance, operational delivery, and team effectiveness.

You’ll bring together a wide range of digital marketing capabilities — from paid media and organic growth to affiliate, social, creative, CRO, influencer, and reputation management — and ensure they work together as one coordinated, high-performing operation.

You’ll also play a central role in expanding the external client portfolio, developing new opportunities, strengthening strategic relationships, and identifying where the business should invest its time and resources to generate the strongest returns.

What you’ll be responsible for
  • Take overall ownership of operational performance, revenue, margins, and client growth across the division.
  • Establish the priorities, processes, and operating rhythm needed to keep a growing international business moving efficiently.
  • Bring together teams across Media Buying, SEO, ASO, AI Search, Affiliate Marketing, Social Media, Brand & Creative, CRO & Revenue Optimization, Influencer Marketing, and Reputation Management.
  • Lead commercial growth, including pipeline development, new business opportunities, pitches, client expansion, and retention.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, strategic partners, contractors, and other key stakeholders, ensuring expectations and delivery remain aligned.
  • Oversee service delivery across international markets, particularly the US, LATAM, and Europe, adapting approaches to local market conditions, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Set meaningful goals and measurable standards across teams, creating clear ownership around deadlines, performance, and results.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and technology to improve campaign management, reporting, content creation, and internal workflows.
  • Use performance data to make practical commercial decisions — shifting investment, people, and resources toward the services, channels, and clients delivering the greatest value.
  • Keep a close eye on key iGaming performance metrics, including ROAS, CPA, CAC, FTD, player LTV, conversion, and retention.
  • Continuously improve the quality of strategic thinking, creative work, campaign execution, and overall client experience.
  • Develop a culture where people take responsibility, move with urgency, solve problems, and are measured by outcomes rather than activity.
  • Act as a senior representative of the business with major clients and partners, communicating recommendations and business decisions clearly and confidently.
What you’ll bring

We’re looking for a senior leader with a strong track record of building and scaling performance-driven businesses.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Significant experience leading and scaling a digital or performance marketing agency, including direct P&L responsibility.
  • A strong commercial track record, with clear ownership of revenue, profitability, client acquisition, and account growth.
  • Experience successfully winning new business and turning opportunities into long-term client relationships.
  • 12+ years of experience across operations, growth, marketing, or related leadership functions, including experience at executive level.
  • Experience managing international client operations, ideally spanning the US, LATAM, and European markets.
  • A history of leading multidisciplinary teams while effectively coordinating contractors, agencies, and external partners.
  • Broad knowledge across performance marketing disciplines, including paid media, organic growth, affiliate, social, creative and brand, CRO, influencer marketing, and reputation management.
  • Practical experience introducing AI, automation, analytics, or data-led processes into a growing organization.
  • Strong commercial judgment, analytical ability, communication skills, and confidence making difficult decisions when needed.
  • Experience within iGaming, online casino, sportsbook, social gaming, digital entertainment, or a closely related performance-driven environment.
The kind of leader who will thrive here

This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys being close to the business.

You’ll need to be comfortable setting the direction while also getting into the detail when something isn’t working. You’ll be expected to ask difficult questions, move quickly when opportunities arise, and create clarity when priorities compete.

Above all, this is a role for someone who sees ownership as more than accountability on paper, you take responsibility for the outcome, bring people with you, and keep looking for better ways to operate.

If you’re an experienced commercial and operational leader looking for a role where your decisions can have a direct impact on growth, performance, and the future direction of an international marketing business, we’d be interested in hearing from you.
