Job description

Nurse Manager – Operating Room / Ambulatory Surgery

We're a surgical practice that's been operating in Florida for decades, and we're looking for an experienced Nurse Manager to run the day-to-day clinical and surgical operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be in the OR, you'll know your staff, and you'll own the outcomes of your facility. If you've spent years in perioperative nursing and you're ready to step fully into an operations and people leadership role, this is worth a look.

The schedule is Monday through Friday. No weekends, no holidays. That's not a perk we're using to dress up the post — it's just how we operate.

What the role involves

  • You'll oversee the surgical facility's operations, manage and develop your team, handle scheduling templates, maintain compliance and accreditation standards, and circulate in the OR on surgery days.
  • You'll also carry budget responsibility for the facility, manage supply inventory, and work closely with clinic, business, and administrative leadership across the organization.

What we need from you

  • You're a licensed RN with at least five years of healthcare experience, two of which have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
  • Perioperative experience is required — pre-op, intra-op, and post-op.
  • OR experience is required.
  • ASC experience is strongly preferred. A
  • CLS certification is required.
  • BSN is preferred but not a dealbreaker. O
  • phthalmology experience is a plus, and Retina or Glaucoma background is even better.

Compensation and benefits

Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. 401(k) with employer match. Paid time off and holiday pay. Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
