  • Serve as a trusted technology partner for GM's senior executives and executive admins, building confidence through responsiveness, discretion, professionalism, and calm execution.
  • Deliver high-touch support for executive offices, leadership transitions, board-level interactions, travel, and other high-visibility business moments.
  • Anticipate needs before they become issues and ensure executives can focus on the business, not the technology.

Technical Strategy & Leadership
  • Act as the team's expert in Mac support, including macOS, Apple hardware, peripherals, mobile ecosystem integration, and executive-specific end-user workflows.
  • Define and mature standards, best practices, and support approaches for Apple devices within the executive environment.
  • Partner with Client Engineering, Security, Identity, Networking, Collaboration, and other technical teams to ensure executive technology experiences are secure, seamless, and supportable.
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve the executive experience through tooling, automation, device standards, and modernization of the support environment.

Service Model Optimization
  • Help shape the strategic direction of Executive IT Support by identifying service gaps, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve the support model for executives and admins.
  • Recommend and help implement improvements to team structure, role clarity, support coverage, workflows, and escalation paths to optimize overall service delivery.
  • Support the development of playbooks, standards, and repeatable processes that reduce dependency on individuals and improve consistency across the team.
  • Use data, trends, and feedback to help define meaningful service metrics and continuously improve the executive support experience.

Operational Excellence
  • Lead complex executive escalations with urgency, sound judgment, and strong cross-functional coordination.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and long-term remediation for recurring or high-impact issues affecting executive productivity.
  • Ensure strong readiness for critical meetings, events, and executive travel, with a proactive approach to preparation and risk reduction.
  • Promote standardization and operational discipline while maintaining the flexibility and personalization expected in executive support.

Team Influence & Capability Building
  • Raise the bar for technical excellence, executive communication, and white-glove service across the Executive Support team.
  • Coach and mentor team members in Mac support, executive engagement, and high-stakes issue management.
  • Help foster a culture of shared accountability, proactive problem-solving, continuous learning, and service excellence.
  • Build strong working relationships across support teams and IT towers to create a more connected and resilient executive support ecosystem.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Significant experience in IT support, with strong experience in executive, VIP, or other high-touch support environments.
  • Expert-level experience supporting Mac devices and Apple ecosystems in an enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated success supporting senior leaders with a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Experience improving service models, support operations, workflows, or team effectiveness in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong technical background in end-user computing, collaboration tools, conferencing technology, mobile support, and incident management.
  • Proven ability to influence across teams, align stakeholders, and drive improvement without relying solely on formal authority.

Preferred Differentiators
  • Experience supporting C-suite, board, or officer-level leaders in a large enterprise environment.
  • Experience with executive event support, leadership transitions, and travel readiness.
  • Experience creating service playbooks, support standards, dashboards, or executive support operating models.
