Just like EC2, EBS, and RDS modernized compute, storage and databases, Alameda provides a modernize AWS scaled and secured building blocks (API, Workflows, Telemetry...) that lets developers focus on writing core business value. Alameda removes the undifferentiated lift of writing services, while simultaneously providing secure by default, AWS scaled runtime services.
As a Software Development Engineer, you will build foundational software features and components that power large-scale distributed systems operating at Amazon scale

Working under the guidance of principle and senior engineers, you will grow your technical skills in system design, coding best practices, and operational excellence. You will contribute to team success through code reviews, design discussions, and collaborative problem-solving while delivering high-quality solutions. You will gain hands-on production ownership by debugging issues, supporting deployments, and participating in on-call rotations to understand the end-to-end system lifecycle.
