Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
Compensation: $34.20
Summary:
The Multi-skilled Maintenance Electrician will perform all tasks necessary to maintain equipment and support operational performance. These tasks include corrective maintenance, the repair of equipment to its intended operating condition, and preventative maintenance to maintain optimal performance of equipment. The Multi-skill Maintenance Electrician may also execute projects, which will include installing new equipment and making process changes to equipment or systems. Additionally, this position will use a variety of skills to support maintenance tasks including, but not limited to: Electrical, Millwright, Machine Repair, Machining, Pipefitting, Sheet Metal, Welding, HVAC, Rigging, Vehicle Repair, Carpentry, Lubrication, and Painting.
Responsibilities:
  • Work cooperatively with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations in a non-jurisdictional, teamwork environment.
  • Strictly adhere to safety requirements and policies
  • Perform tasks in many skill sets, which they can perform.
  • Support the process "as needed" - as determined by Management.
  • Function effectively in an unstructured environment.
  • Be flexible and willing to work different shift configurations as needed.
  • Accept change and continuous learning/improvement.
  • Handle stressful manufacturing environments with demanding production expectations.
  • Conduct business with a customer driven approach.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Electrical Journeyman status required.
  • Must have 7+ years of Industrial Electrical experience; or completion of a formal apprenticeship program.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience trouble-shooting mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and repair mechanical and electrical equipment defects.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret piping and instrumentation drawings.
  • Able to use protective equipment, including safety shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, respiratory protection, hearing protection, and face mask/covering where required.
  • Able to work at heights and in confined/enclosed spaces.
  • Demonstrated understanding of process control principles and their application.
  • Computer literacy - knowledgeable/competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Proven ability to relate well in a people-oriented and team environment.
