What is an operating room aide?

An operating room aide is a healthcare worker who assists surgical teams by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and supporting patient care before, during, and after surgery. They often work under supervision and need knowledge of sterile techniques and hospital protocols.

What is the difference between Operating Aide vs Surgical Technician?
