Oracle Opera, Design, EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse)

Description

We are seeking a highly experienced, hands‑on Technical Architect / lead Technical Analyst with deep experience in Oracle OPERA (Cloud + on‑prem) and complex hospitality integrations. This role is critical to the success of our OPERA implementation and will lead the technical design, data mapping, integration oversight, and architectural decision‑making required to bring OPERA live across our enterprise.

This is a 6‑month engagement with potential extension through stabilization. The role is 90% technical architecture, with limited BA support as needed. We need someone who can start immediately, operate with minimal onboarding, and bring expert-level OPERA knowledge to guide downstream impacts, reporting implications, and integration design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

OPERA Integration Architecture — Lead the end‑to‑end technical design for all OPERA integrations into internal systems.

Data Mapping Ownership — Own and lead all data mapping, transformation logic, and schema alignment across OPERA and downstream systems.

Integration Oversight — Provide architectural direction for integrations into EDW, PeopleSoft (GL), Loyalty, Onyx Commissions, door locks, internal POS/transaction systems, and owner reporting.

Middleware Collaboration — Partner with SnapLogic development teams to guide interface design, sequencing, error handling, and performance expectations.

Technical Leadership — Run design sessions, lead workshops, and drive clarity on what needs to be built from the ground up.

Oracle Expertise — Provide expert guidance on OPERA configuration choices and their downstream impact on reporting, data flows, and operational processes.

Cross‑Functional Alignment — Work closely with internal technical teams, Oracle resources, and leadership stakeholders to ensure alignment on architecture and integration strategy.

Executive Communication — Present integration plans, risks, and architectural recommendations to Directors, VPs, and steering committees.

Go‑Live Readiness — Support cutover planning, triage, and post‑go‑live stabilization.

Best‑Practice Enforcement — Evaluate existing BA work and reset direction where needed to ensure proper architectural standards.

We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
