Your Impact
Seeking High-level technical engineers is responsible for maintaining reliability, and technical integration of complex electrical infrastructure and HVAC systems that support 24/7 mission-critical operations. This role includes firsthand overseeing power infrastructure from the utility grid down to the individual server racks.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
  • Architecture: Own end-to-end design of power systems, including dual power fed high-reliability substation, medium-to-low voltage distribution, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.
  • Infrastructure Management: Supervise critical equipment such as generators, switchgear, transformers, automatic transfer switches, and UPS systems.
  • Project Leadership: Work with vendors approving work, managing projects, and overseeing electricians.
  • Maintain DC mechanical infrastructure: Identify issues and work with vendors approving work, managing projects, and overseeing maintenance activities.
  • Sustainability Integration: Investigate and implement renewable energy sources and carbon-free technologies into the facility's power architecture.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • At least 8 years professional engineering experience (preferably in a Data Centre Services environment). BA/BS Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. (or equivalent experience
  • Data centre cooling systems including: Open and closed loop cooling systems, Computer room air conditioners, Fresh air supply, ventilation and extraction
  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Mechanical dampers and controls associated with fire systems
  • General data centre electrical power supply and distribution systems including UPS's.
  • Deploy a large inventory of server, network, and infrastructure equipment in a production environment.
