YOUR IMPACT
Senior Software Developer role at OpenText is more than just a job, it's an opportunity to impact lives. As a key contributor, you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and stabilizing complex technical business solutions for our Managed Services and Cloud Services platforms, helping clients maximize the value of their information while delivering secure, scalable, and innovative information management solutions.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
• Partner with our COE Software Developers and their leadership to complete required Managed Services Integration project activity deliverables
• Review and approve client requirements and design documentation with Sr Software Developers, Architects, Solution Consultant and Project Managers.
• Interface with Solution Consultants and Global Architecture to transition new Sales activity into deliverable solutions with confirmed project schedules
• Consult, Review and Approve SDD documents and Readiness Review artifacts
• Ensure quality of deliverables are within SLO and JIRA Quality standard
• Successfully manage Project Manager and Client expectations for all technical deliverables
• Represent Software team for Change Management process
• Champion AI driven solutions, Automation and Continuous Improvement initiatives for Cloud Services
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 3+ years of OpenText Cloud Services experience as a Software Developer, including at least 2 years supporting Financial Services clients.
• 3+ years of experience in systems analysis, solution design, systems integration, and software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments and scripting technologies, including Shell, Perl, and Expect.
• Experience working with industry-standard communication protocols, including FTP, SFTP, HTTPS/Web Services, and AS2. Exposure to APIs is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and technologies to support solution design, development, automation, and delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and provide technical leadership to experienced engineering professionals.
• Highly adaptable and self-motivated, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to assess complex situations and deliver effective, business-focused solutions.
• Solid technical expertise combined with the ability to build effective partnerships and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Salary Range: $124,600 - $186,800; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
California Residents: The pay range above is a reasonable estimate of salary based on pay scale, candidate experience, skills, and education. In addition to the comprehensive benefits noted above, the role may be eligible for bonus or commissions.
