Job description

We are looking for a warm, engaging, and hospitality-driven Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you'll play a key role in creating an exceptional dining experience through outstanding service, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome every guest with genuine warmth and enthusiasm upon arrival.
  • Deliver attentive, friendly, and professional service throughout each guest's experience.
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, party sizes, and waitlists while maintaining an efficient flow of the dining room and providing accurate wait time estimates.
  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally, courteously, and with confidence, responding to guest inquiries and reservation requests.
  • Coordinate takeout orders, ensuring accuracy, organization, timely execution, and proper payment processing.
  • Thank guests as they leave and engage them about their dining experience.
  • Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency, communicating any issues promptly to the management team.
  • Complete opening, side work, and closing responsibilities, including stocking, cleaning, and maintaining an organized and welcoming host stand.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of host/hostess experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.
  • A naturally welcoming personality with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
  • Excellent judgment, integrity, and the ability to remain composed while making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a polished and courteous telephone presence.
  • Experience using reservation management systems such as OpenTable.
