Job description

Title: Security Automation Tester
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: Full Time
Role/Responsibilities
• Work closely with Test Lead and Test Architects in developing cloud automated test cases for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Designs, develops, and executes automation test cases to verify NFRs and defect fixes
• Works with team members and support teams to diagnose and fix issues
• Develop full lifecycle Proof of Concept activities for new tooling, technologies, infrastructure and processes.
• Documents Proof of Concept findings
• Documents automation processes (detailed step by step instructions)
• Status reporting
Skills Needed
a) Minimum 5+ years security test planning, execution and automation
b) Must have OpenStack experience (preferred 3 or more years with OpenStack)
c) Hands-on Python, Bash Code, JSON, Yaml
d) Understanding of Kubernetes (k8s) and Docker
e) Knowledge of Linux (OS) level processes and virtualization (VM's, Networking, Orchestration, Compute Flavors, etc.).
f) Experience with Ansible and/or other automation tools
g) Sound Knowledge on Source Control build and deployment tools such as GIT and SCM concepts (branching, merging, integration, versioning, etc.) such as Jenkins, Subversion, Maven, Hudson, Git, Chef.
h) Understanding of networking (TCP/IP), DPDK, SR-IOV and kernel-vrouter-agent processes and network security.
i) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment with tight release schedules, multiple code streams and concurrent releases.
j) Knowledge of product life cycle management.
k) Strong communication skills, technical writing and follow through skills.
l) Strong planning and organizational skills.
m) Strong troubleshooting skills.
n) Exposure to Agile (Scrum) methodology
