Job description

Job Summary for Openshift Developer
- Assess and understand the architecture, dependencies, and deployment configurations of existing applications on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
- Plan and execute the migration of applications from PCF to OpenShift with minimal disruption.
- Implement configuration changes and deploy applications to OpenShift clusters using best practices for container orchestration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and after migration, including deployment failures and container errors.
- Optimize application and container settings for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency on the OpenShift platform.
- Apply security best practices, such as RBAC, secrets management, and compliance with corporate policies.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure smooth migration, provide documentation, and offer post-migration support.
- Required: 6+ years designing and architecting enterprise container platforms, with 5+ years in Red Hat OpenShift and PCF.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in OpenShift cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and CI/CD tools (e.g., Harness).
- Experience with cloud-native patterns, microservices, and application modernization.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., shell, Helm charts).
- Experience with Autosys.
