Job description

Infra Managed Service Senior Manager (Accenture LLP; Morristown, NJ): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Infra Managed Service Senior Manager in Morristown, NJ, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Design and define enterprise database architecture strategies to ensure scalability, security, and compliance across all organizational systems; establish standards for data modeling and integration.
  • Develop and implement security and governance frameworks for database systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely mitigation of vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee testing and performance optimization of database solutions, approving design modifications based on performance metrics and business objectives rather than performing hands-on coding.
  • Act as the principal subject matter expert on database architecture, providing strategic guidance to stakeholders and influencing decisions on enterprise data platforms.
  • Lead resolution of critical database-related incidents and escalations, implementing preventive measures and guiding teams to maintain system reliability and availability.
  • Prepare and present financial forecasts and investment plans for database infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and cost efficiency.
  • Direct workforce planning and performance management for database architecture teams, conducting leadership reviews and aligning resources to strategic priorities.
  • Advise senior leadership on emerging database technologies, including cloud migration strategies and automation opportunities, to inform enterprise modernization roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with system architects and solution leaders to design integrated data solutions that support digital transformation and modernization initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT Infrastructure Delivery industry.

Must have 7 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Managing datacenters, database technologies, and cloud Services across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud;
  • Utilizing Service Level Management, ITIL processes, and ServiceNow;
  • Conducting financial forecasting, costing, pricing and managing overall profitability;
  • Serving as a subject matter expert in Oracle and SQL database technologies within datacenter and cloud environments;
  • Driving key architectural and design decisions for on-premise infrastructure, public, and private cloud solutions, utilizing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS);
  • Managing infrastructure strategies and migration projects, including business case development and executing migrations to on-premise, public cloud, and SaaS environments; and
  • Recommending improvements for ongoing performance issues during infrastructure assessments and migrations.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
