Professionals in this field may work as developers, administrators, instructional designers, or platform engineers, focusing on customization, deployment, and maintenance of Open edX instances. These roles often require proficiency in Python, Django, and front-end technologies, as well as experience with cloud hosting and system integration.

What skills and qualifications are needed for an open edX position?

Experience with tools like Git, Docker, MySQL, and Open edX's own platform are highly valuable, and certifications in cloud services or edtech tools can be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and clear communication are essential for collaborating with educators, instructional designers, and technical teams.
