Job description
New Tech Global is seeking a Project Scientist - Air for the Houston, TX location. This is a direct hire opportunity paying $70-75k.
Responsibilities:

- Air Permitting - prepare and submit state and federal air permit applications (NSR, Title V, PSD) in TX, NM, OK, LA, ND
- Calculate and submit annual Greenhouse Gas reports, Emissions Inventories, NSPS OOOO reports
- Proficient in BRE ProMax software
- Prepare technical reports and compliance documentation
- Support environmental audits, inspections, and agency interactions
- Familiar with LDAR program (fugitive emissions surveys)
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in air permitting and environmental compliance within upstream and midstream oil and gas industry
- Understanding of EPA and state air quality regulations
- Experience in preparing emissions calculations and permitting documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using ProMax for process simulation and emissions analysis
- Experience with emission modeling software
- Familiarity with oil and gas processes and equipment
- Knowledge of industrial process systems and environmental controls
