Overview

RoboFun | Vision Education & Media provides exciting, hands-on after-school programs using emerging technologies for PK-8th grade youth. We ignite kids passion for exploring and solving problems as they learn to invent, build, code, and troubleshoot. Our students build and program LEGO robots, solder DIY electronic projects, create and code video games, shoot stop motion animations, and design web pages.


Job Summary:

We are looking for an organized and creative team player to be our Onsite Coordinator. An individual who will be able to speak knowledgeably about the programs we offer, and treat our students and their families professionally and with warmth. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be able to keep the space and many small details organized, and has the ability and eagerness to jump into new situations and navigate them with integrity and success. Our Onsite Coordinator should enjoy creating a non-traditional and innovative learning environment for our students and a fast-paced work environment that requires thinking on your feet.


Responsibilities:

Sales and Program Support

  • Represent RoboFun to potential clients and guests both on the phone and in person
  • Respond to parent inquiries/questions through email and give tours to potential walk-in clients
  • Provide our students and families with excellent customer service
  • Light bookkeeping and client database maintenance
  • Assist with clerical duties, including keeping track of inventory, ordering supplies and scanning bills, and filing paperwork
  • Assist with the upkeep of our company website by inputting new class information
  • Ensure all children have proper account information including allergies, photo releases, and authorization from the parents stating who is allowed to pick the child up from the facility
  • Chaperone and supervise students in transition times during vacation days, summer camp, and to and from a local playground
  • Assist the Onsite Team with social media projects and photograph important events for marketing purposes
  • Organize and prepare LEGO and other materials for our classes and events
  • Supervise cleaning staff and assist with clean up three times a week or when needed
  • Assist in monitoring the facility, ensuring that it is a safe, clean and healthy place for children
  • Assist with the supervision of all afterschool classes, camps, and events to assure programs run
    smoothly and safely.
  • Assist in managing teachers to ensure theyre accurately performing assigned duties and
    responsibilities
  • Support and manage LEGO robotics equipment and other equipment used both at the Robofun studio and at schools


Work Relationships:

Reports to the CEO. Works closely with teachers, students, families, and program managers. The work schedule is generally 10 am - 6 pm, Mon - Fri. Some schedule adjustments including evenings and weekend hours are required to facilitate programs and oversee projects.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Experience working with children in traditional or non-traditional learning environments
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently with attention to detail
  • Strong project planning, and time management skills are essential
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with multiple staff members and partners in an efficient and professional manner


Benefits:

  • $45,000 - $55,000 per year
  • Option to have 72.5% of insurance paid after 3 months
  • 401K with up to a 4% match after qualifying conditions are met
