Hospice Patient Volunteer

Constellation Health Services Hospice Program is seeking volunteers. A hospice volunteer is someone who wants to make a difference.  Our volunteers help by bringing joy to patients and families, offering companionship and a warm presence, among many other things.  The rewards of hospice volunteering are meaningful and powerful, enriching ourselves as we provide presence to others.  We offer comprehensive online training that is uplifting, as well as informative, and can be done at your own pace.  Four hours each month will make a big difference.  Contact us to find out more!

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older
  • 1-2 hours/week
  • Request a one-year commitment
  • 14 hours of online training
  • No close death in the past year
