South College Asheville is seeking a Radiology Adjunct Instructor to join the Radiology Department. This position is on-ground at the Asheville Campus in Asheville, NC. Clinical supervision may be required at area clinical affiliates.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop appropriate academic lectures and/or labs, as well as learning experiences that allow students to achieve course learning objectives
  • Facilitate effective learning and critical thinking during clinical rotations while fostering a positive learning environment
  • Validate student competency in the clinical and lab environment
  • Ensure that all academic program requirements and forms of documentation are completed as required for each student and submitted per established deadlines
  • Provide appropriate and timely feedback to students
  • Be reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance
  • Be willing to assist with visiting students in a clinical setting as needed
Requirements:

Education

  • Must possess a minimum of an associates degree in radiography
  • Bachelors degree preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in radiography
  • Hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography
  • Prior experience with supervision of students in clinical or didactic settings preferred
