Radiography Adjunct Description
The Adjunct Faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and creating meaningful learning experiences that support student achievement of course objectives. The instructor will develop lectures, labs, and assessments, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with all institutional and program requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver academic lectures, labs, and assignments that align with course objectives.
  • Prepare and submit course syllabi per South College standards and deadlines; ensure syllabus approval before posting on Canvas.
  • Follow approved course outlines and utilize designated textbooks and materials.
  • Grade papers, tests, and other evaluations promptly to provide timely feedback to students.
  • Complete and submit all required documentation, including attendance rosters, competency forms, and grade sheets, within established timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance, including grade calculation worksheets and keyed copies of final exams.
  • Manage classroom and online activities effectively, maintaining a professional and supportive learning environment.
  • Remain accessible to students for academic questions and assistance.
  • Travel to clinical sites to visit students, as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

Requirements
Education:
  • Associate degree in Radiography; BS preferred
  • ARRT credentialing in Radiography.

Experience:
  • Prior teaching experience and/clinical experience in Radiography.
