Program Support Lead
Farmington, MO

DESCRIPTION OF QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a US Citizen (most customers require this for on-site work)
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively
    • Must have, or be able to obtain within 6 weeks, a US Passport
    • Must have, or be able to obtain within 6 weeks, TSA Pre-check status
  • Must have extensive experience and knowledge of these specific modules in a full-fledged ERP system in an industrial setting:
    • Procurement
    • Receiving
    • Inventory maintenance
    • Inventory transactions
  • Must have the aptitude to learn new data gathering and reporting systems.
  • Must have innate ability to work with quickness and accuracy, and comprehend instructions;
  • Must be neat, organized and have diligent work habits, including the ability to work unsupervised most of the time;
  • Must have well developed problem-solving skills;
  • Must have the ability to produce an orderly environment from one currently disorganized, dysfunctional and/or chaotic;
  • Must have the ability to represent the company in a positive manner, especially during periods in which the company is not viewed favorably, is being challenged or under scrutiny by a program customer;
  • Must have the flexibility to be either a leader or follower, depending on situation,
    • This includes leading a team of US Tool employees who may not be familiar with travel on a project at a remote site;
  • Must possess good judgment and be capable of reasonable thinking;
  • Must have well-developed interpersonal skills, with the capability of adapting successfully to individuals of differing talent, aptitude, work pace and personality;
  • Must have direct experience with a Microsoft Windows-based operating environment, with above average skills `using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Preference will be toward someone already familiar with P21, AutoCrib and other internal proprietary applications.

DESCRIPTION OF PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Organize, implement and manage special program projects as may be assigned from time to time, in order to achieve one or more of the following:
    • Providing operational assistance to programs that are understaffed, underdeveloped, or underperforming;
    • Providing leadership on new program setups;
    • Providing leadership on special projects or engagements; and
    • Providing substitute service for key employees on vacation or other leave.  This includes individuals in management roles.
  • Partner with the systems support group (“SSG”) and accounts payable discrepancy resolution team to understand, implement and enforce processes expected to be performed by program personnel on site.
  • Organize/rationalize data from various sources (customer, USTG internal, supplier, etc.) into formats that can be uploaded into USTG-managed systems
  • Execute internal audits of program performances on site.
  • Communicate feedback from program managers and staff to company management for possible process revision.
  • Assist with the training of new or existing buyers at USTG satellite facilities.
  • Assist with physical inventory and cycle count process on a pre-scheduled, cyclical or “as needed” basis;
  • Attend and contribute at monthly meetings of program managers and buyers.
  • Other operational and system-related duties as may be deemed necessary from time to time.
