Compensation, Location, Schedule

This full-time Nanny role offering $18-$20 per hour. This position is on-site located in West Haven, UT. Work days are reoccurring every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 8am-6:30pm and Wednesday 12:300m-6:30pm. Nanny will be OFF on Friday's, allowing 3 day weekends.


Role Description

This positions for a single mother with two young boys, ages 13 and 9. The nanny will provide attentive, age-appropriate care, including supervising daily routines, engaging children in educational and play activities, and ensuring their safety at all times. Day-to-day tasks include preparing nutritious meals and snacks, assisting with basic hygiene, organizing play areas, and supporting developmental milestones through reading, crafts, and interactive play. The nanny will also communicate regularly with parents about the children's activities, progress, and any concerns, and may assist with light child-related household tasks such as tidying up after meals and activities. Reliability, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting children's emotional and social development are essential.


Qualifications

  • Strong babysitting and childcare skills, with experience providing consistent, hands-on care to infants, toddlers, or young children.
  • Demonstrated ability and comfort working with children, including creating engaging, age-appropriate activities and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices to support learning, behavior, and social-emotional growth.
  • Basic cooking skills, including preparing healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks and accommodating family preferences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with parents and responding calmly to challenging situations.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent full-time schedule on-site in West Haven, UT.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and adapt to changing family routines and needs.
  • Prior 1 year professional nanny or childcare experience preferred;
  • CPR & FIRST AID are required. Any additional certifications are a plus
  • Comfort with background checks and references to ensure a safe and trustworthy placement.
