Overview: The Order Build Associate performs consolidation of finished work orders and is responsible for the day-to-day execution
of tasks within the assigned work area.
Shift Available: Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm
Pay: $17.00/hour to start,

What you'll do
  • Ensure samples are collected as requested.
  • All items are complete and or partials are approved to ship on orders that are due or late with the CSR and create a back order.
  • Reviews any defect found with the Quality Manager to determine the disposition.
  • Logs returns of finished goods in company enterprise application and routes them to rework if applicable.Verify all COCs are complete and accurate.
  • All hold for releases is moved to will ship by the end of day before or the morning of their ship date.
  • All orders that are received early of their ship date in order assembly are complete, if not they a reviewed with production whether to run the balance or ship short.
  • Follows established QMS procedures.
  • Completes quality documents to ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Adheres to all established safety practices.
  • Work with the inspection team order expeditors to assure hot jobs are being processed.
  • Focus on LTL shipments and NDA first to ensure orders are moved before the target time.
  • Coordinates and trains new employees.
  • Communicates quality concerns to the Quality Manger and aids in implementing changes as needed.

Desired Traits/Requirements:
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate and work with co-workers and customers effectively.
  • Ability to operate all forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers and other machinery.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO, FDA, BSI) is desired.

Physical Demands:
  • The employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions involving hands,wrists, and arms.
  • The employee frequently uses hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • The employee is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds regularly, with or without assistance.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus to inspect materials and products.
  • The employee must be able to safely work in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Work Environment:
  • The employee regularly works in a manufacturing, production, and/or warehouse environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts and powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, or presses).
  • The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud, and the use of hearing protection may be required.
  • The employee may be exposed to dust, airborne particles, and controlled amounts of cleaning agents, solvents (such as acetone), and water- or UV-based inks used in production processes.
  • The employee must utilize appropriate safety measures and personal protective equipment (PPE) when working around certain equipment.
  • All chemical use is managed in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and company safety protocols. Appropriate PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection, may be required.
  • The employee may be exposed to flashing or strobe lighting used in inspection processes to identify product defects.
  • The employee may be exposed to varying temperatures typical of a production or warehouse setting.
