Pay rate: $25.00/hr.
Position Summary:
The Online Graphics Masker (Level 1 Painter) is responsible for preparing and masking aerospace components prior to surface finishing or coating processes. This role ensures that specific areas of parts are protected during processes such as painting, plating, anodizing, or other treatments. The Online Graphics Masker works closely with production, finishing, and quality teams to ensure parts meet required specifications and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Apply masking materials such as tape, plugs, caps, or custom masking solutions to aerospace components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Prepare parts for finishing processes by cleaning, masking, and organizing components for production.
  • Review work orders and technical documentation to determine required masking locations and specifications.
  • Remove masking materials after finishing processes when required.
  • Inspect masked parts to ensure proper coverage and protection before processing.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation related to masking operations.
  • Communicate with finishing, production, and quality teams to address masking requirements or issues.
  • Ensure all work complies with company procedures and aerospace quality standards such as AS9100.
  • Maintain masking tools, materials, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and proper handling of materials.
