This often involves logging into a web-based portal to review student submissions and provide feedback, grades, or comments electronically. Online grading systems help streamline the evaluation process, making it faster, more organized, and accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. Many schools, universities, and online education providers use online grading to support remote or blended learning environments.

Some online grading jobs are ones you can do as a graduate student or upper-level undergrad as part of your work-study program or in compensation for your aid package for graduate school. Other online graders work on a freelance basis during the testing season. Others may assist online instructors with grading and assessment responsibilities.
