Job description

Super Dispatch is looking for an Events Manager to own our end-to-end events portfolio and build our community presence. This role spans three types of events - external industry trade shows, Super Dispatch-hosted flagship events like SuperCon and Broker Summit, and internal employee events like our annual all-employee gathering - and adds a new dimension to the role: building a community program that deepens engagement with our customers and brand advocates. This is an opportunity for someone who loves event planning but can bring creative thinking to community building.
About Super Dispatch
Super Dispatch is the leading end-to-end transport management platform built exclusively for the auto transport industry. For too long, vehicle shipping has been burdened by fragmentation, endless phone calls, and mountain loads of manual paperwork. We are changing that. By connecting shippers and carriers within a single, unified digital ecosystem, Super Dispatch eliminates operational friction and transforms how cars move.
Who We Are
Our diverse team is composed of highly motivated professionals with a passion for solving big problems with technology. Our core values are built around learning, growing, evolving, and continuous experimentation. We believe and practice taking bold risks. We embrace failure as a lesson. We put our team first. We are committed to supporting each other and helping each other grow on this journey.
What You'll Do
External Events
  • Research trade shows for match to Super Dispatch's target audiences
  • Create the plan and budget for the year's trade shows with the head of marketing and head of sales.
  • Manage logistics, staffing, and materials. Booth design is nice to have but we don't usually exhibit.
  • Track and report on event ROI, lead generation, and attendee engagement using Salesforce Campaigns
  • Build and manage relationships with venues, vendors, and industry event organizers
  • Source lists of show attendees. Use tools like Zoominfo to gather contact information where we don't have it

Super Dispatch-Hosted Events
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of flagship company events, including SuperCon and Broker Summit
  • Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, venue selection, speaker/agenda coordination, and on-site logistics
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to align event goals with pipeline and customer engagement targets
  • Find and renew sponsors for our events

Internal Events
  • Plan and execute one to two internal employee events per year, including our US employee summit
  • Coordinate with People Ops and leadership on logistics, venue sourcing, travel, and employee experience

Community Building
  • Work to expand Super Dispatch's community-building program - there's no formal program in place today, so this is a build-it-yourself mandate
  • Grow engagement across social media and community channels, developing programs that turn customers and industry contacts into active brand advocates
  • Test and iterate on community formats (online groups, referrals, influencers, ambassador programs, local meetups, etc.) to find what resonates with our audience

What We're Looking For
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in event management or event marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or a related industry
  • Experience managing multiple events with different formats and audiences (trade shows, company-hosted conferences, internal events)

Expertise:
  • Track record of owning event budgets, vendor negotiations, and logistics end-to-end
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and an interest in community-building strategy, even without prior formal program ownership

Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong project management skills and comfort juggling multiple workstreams under deadline
  • Creative, resourceful, and energized by building something new without an existing playbook
  • Avid user of Claude (or similar) to research, document, brainstorm, analyze and report on a daily basis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to represent the Super Dispatch brand externally
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows and hosted events (approximately 10%)

What We Offer
  • Great Culture - We strive for transparency and you'll work with like minded highly motivated people excited about solving complex problems
  • Great Insurance - We offer multiple health, dental & vision plans with a portion of the employee premiums paid by the company
  • Retirement - We provide both Stock Options and 401K with a company match
  • Remote First Culture - We're a 100% distributed team!
  • Wellness Stipend - We provide a monthly stipend for your health, wellbeing, and fitness needs ($50/mo)
  • Generous Time Off - Flex PTO policy so you can take the time you need, when you need it, as well as 6-12 weeks paid parental leave
  • Great Gear - we'll set you up for success with the latest tech

Location
Open to candidates within the United States only. All work must be performed from within the United States. This role is not eligible for international remote work.
Citizenship
Candidates must be U.S. citizens. Proof of citizenship will be required during the hiring process.
Does this sound like you? We'd love to hear from you.
All regular full-time employees are also eligible for excellent Medical, Dental and Vision coverage with generous premium contributions for both employees and their families, the option of a Health Savings Account with Employer Match, Company paid disability and life insurance with opportunity to add additional coverage for you and your family.
