Online Embroidery Digitizing Jobs in Florida (NOW HIRING)

Online Embroidery Digitizing information

What is online embroidery digitizing?

Online embroidery digitizing is the process of converting artwork or images into a digital embroidery file using specialized software, which can then be read by embroidery machines. This service is typically offered over the internet, allowing clients to upload their designs and receive digitized files remotely. The digitized file contains instructions for the embroidery machine, such as stitch type, direction, and color sequence, ensuring an accurate recreation of the original artwork on fabric. Online embroidery digitizing has made it easier for individuals and businesses to access professional digitizing services without needing in-house expertise.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an online embroidery digitizer, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Online Embroidery Digitizer, you need a strong understanding of embroidery techniques, design principles, and proficiency in vector graphics, typically supported by relevant training or experience in textile arts or graphic design. Expertise with digitizing software such as Wilcom, Pulse, or Hatch, and familiarity with file formats and embroidery machine specifications are vital. Attention to detail, creativity, and effective communication with clients help ensure high-quality, custom results. These skills are essential to translate artwork into precise, machine-readable embroidery files that meet client needs and industry standards.

What are some common challenges faced by online embroidery digitizers, and how can they be overcome?

Online embroidery digitizers often face challenges such as working with low-quality artwork, managing tight client deadlines, and ensuring designs translate well from digital to fabric. To overcome these, it's important to communicate clearly with clients about image requirements, use specialized digitizing software to refine designs, and maintain a well-organized workflow to manage multiple projects efficiently. Collaboration with clients and other team members, such as designers or machine operators, also helps ensure design accuracy and client satisfaction.

Job description

We are the world’s largest emblem manufacturer and embroidery services with 8 strategic locations throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. We have been trusted year after year by customers for over 30 years to provide high-quality products and embroidery services that help customers create a great look, have memorable experiences, and promote their brand. We offer a wide variety of emblem options, ranging from traditional embroidered to FlexStyle patches and everything in between. Our culture is represented by our Core Values: Stay positive, Get the Job Done, Customer Centricity, and 100% Committed to the team.

Job Summary

World Emblem is hiring a Head of Demand Gen & Ecommerce to own two scoreboards under one leader: the Ecommerce P&L across WE.com, Hero’s Pride, and Custom Genie (all on Optimizely), and marketing-sourced pipeline for a direct sales force and distributor channel. This is a build role inside a new agentic marketing organization — the person in this seat directs two AI agent fleets (paid media operations and SEO content) rather than managing a traditional department, and is accountable for revenue, margin, pipeline, and the trust scores of the fleets they run. The role reports to the CEO on an interim basis and to the CRO once seated, with a peer seat on the revenue leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ecommerce P&L, end to end. Own revenue, margin, and growth targets for WE.com, Hero’s Pride ecommerce, and Custom Genie; forecasting, budgeting, and the investment case. Productize WE VISION into the buying flow: configure, order, reorder online.
  • The demand engine. Own sourced pipeline targets, funnel economics (CAC, payback, LTV to CAC), and the acquisition strategy across paid, SEO, and inbound.
  • Two agent fleets. Direct paid media ops agents (pacing, anomaly detection, query mining, creative briefs) and SEO content agents (a brand voice publishing engine). Set targets and rules, and own the trust score for each fleet.
  • The full funnel experience. Own conversion rate, average order value, and site experience from landing to checkout to reorder; drive continuous CRO and UX improvement with the Marketing Ops Engineer, who owns releases.
  • The data foundation, co-owned. Co-own the ecommerce side of the ongoing product and account data rebuild in the first two quarters; year one bonus weighs foundation milestones alongside revenue.
  • One future human hire. Bring on a Paid Media Manager once platform automation and agent performance earn the headcount; partner with the Product Merchant on merchandising and the analytics agent stack on reporting rather than hiring separately for those functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years across ecommerce and demand generation with meaningful P&L ownership, including scaling an online revenue line from an early or rebuild stage.

Deep command of CRO, merchandising economics, digital analytics, and paid acquisition.

Fluency in unit economics: CAC, AOV, LTV, contribution margin, payback.

Experience integrating ecommerce with ERP and CRM systems and cross-functional operations.

Demonstrated automation instinct — able to describe, in the first interview, something they automated that used to be a person’s job.

Executive presence: this seat sits on the revenue leadership team and reports to the CEO until the CRO is seated.

SKILLS

Strong command of conversion rate optimization (CRO), site experience, and merchandising economics.

Fluency in digital analytics and paid acquisition channel management (Google, Meta, SEO/inbound).

Comfort directing AI agents or automated workflows and setting rules, budgets, and trust scores for them.

Executive-level communication and cross-functional partnership skills.

Nice to have experience with custom, configurable, made-to-order, or B2B2C products; manufacturing, apparel, promotional products, or uniforms background; familiarity with Optimizely, Business Central, Celigo, and HubSpot.

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

8+ years of progressive experience across ecommerce and demand generation, with demonstrated P&L ownership and a track record of scaling an online revenue line.
LANGUAGE ABILITY

English required; Spanish preferred to support communication across all of the organization locations.
