• Oversee curriculum frameworks and program calendars across all age levels, ensuring developmental appropriateness and theological integrity
• Lead the transition of Confirmation preparation from a high school-based program to a Grade 7-8 model, ensuring continuity for families currently enrolled
• Champion a family-centered approach across all programs, directing coordinators to engage parents not merely as logistics partners but as active co-formators in their children's faith lives
• Evaluate and continuously improve program effectiveness through observation, coordinator feedback, and family input
• Represent Faith Formation needs at parish leadership meetings and at Archdiocesan sponsored meetings and gathering
Team Leadership and Supervision
• Mentor and evaluate program coordinators and the administrative assistant with an eye to transitioning a program coordinator to the director role in the near future
• Facilitate monthly Faith Formation team meetings to foster collaboration, shared planning, and unified pastoral response
• Provide coaching and formation support to coordinators, helping them grow as catechetical leaders
• Ensure all staff and volunteers maintain compliance with archdiocesan VIRTUS training and safety requirements
• Identify and address gaps across programs with a spirit of pastoral flexibility and team support
Family Faith Formation
• Design and implement a parish-wide family faith formation strategy that extends beyond classroom-based catechesis
• Develop resources, events, and touchpoints that support parents in nurturing faith at home across all program levels
• Create and sustain intergenerational programming opportunities that bring families together across the parish community
• Establish clear and welcoming onboarding for new families entering any Faith Formation program
Sacramental Preparation Oversight
• Ensure consistency and quality across sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation

• Submit required reports to the Pastor and Archdiocese of Hartford
• Coordinate with Administrative Assistant room scheduling, supply management, and facility use across both campuses (St. James and St. Elizabeth Seton)
• Ensure back up training occurs for all online systems and office procedures in the event of staff absences.
• Oversee Bakhita Bible Camp with coordinators.
• Oversee Children's Liturgy of the Word with coordinators - order materials for CLW
Collaborative Responsibilities
• Report directly to the Pastor, Reverend Shawn Daly, and participate in parish leadership gatherings
