What You'll Do as a Data Analytics Specialist
ย  ย Researches complex data requests & collaborates with Epidemiology Investigators to identify business problems & opportunities to create dashboards to help management identify new data trends & recommend new solutions;
ย  ย Collects, analyzes, & documents business requirements for project proposals; Employs analytical results to address business problems &/or opportunities in formats accessible to non technical staff & stakeholders;
ย  ย Supports data specialists & scientists in guiding business leaders regarding interpretation & applicability of findings (e.g., program effectiveness, resource allocation, patient care best practices, impact on & patient outcomes, etc.);
ย  ย Identifies & validates data sets; Identifies missing or incomplete data & variables in the EMSIRS & OTR data; Analyzes relevant data to understand business patterns & trends;
ย  ย Works with Epidemiology Investigators to investigate & resolve data discrepancies across EMS data systems;
ย  ย Utilizes Tableau & Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) to complete data visualization requests using Emergency Medical Services Incident Reporting System (EMSIRS) & Ohio Trauma Registry (OTR);

-Or completion of associate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field;ย 
AND 30 mos. exp. in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods.

OPTION 3:
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field;ย 
AND 24 mos. exp. in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods.

OPTION 4:
-Or completion of graduate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field;ย 
AND 12 mos. exp. in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods.

OPTION 5:
-Or 36 mos. exp as a Data Analytics Associate, 66930.
