Location: Wilmington, DE Description:
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL and real-time streaming data pipelines using PySpark, Spark, and Java.
  • Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and processing frameworks for large-scale datasets.
  • Develop cloud-native data solutions utilizing AWS services such as S3, Lambda, SQS, and RDS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and operational excellence across data platforms.
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and implement best practices for scalable data engineering solutions.
  • Contribute to the automation and continuous improvement of data infrastructure and deployment processes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with PySpark, Spark, Java, and ETL/streaming pipeline development.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including SQS, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or both.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and distributed data processing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments.
  • Hands-on experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Familiarity with modern Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications.
  • Experience developing practical AI/LLM use cases using Azure OpenAI services.
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices, and cloud automation.
