Job Description Charitable Services Group - Analyst Location: Cohoes, NY Pay Rate: $26/hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Fully Onsite) Job Summary Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide financial counseling services to clients. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and reputation. The team supports charitable organizations and donor-related processes by conducting research, reviewing documentation, and assisting with payment processing activities.

This role involves performing due diligence on charitable organizations, gathering tax and organizational information, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. This position is ideal for recent college graduates or candidates with internship, research, customer service, or entry-level sales experience who enjoy detail-oriented and research-driven work environments. Candidates graduating in May/June 2026 are encouraged to apply.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct due diligence reviews on charitable organizations prior to payment processing Research charities and nonprofit organizations using online databases, public records, and other research tools Contact charitable organizations directly to gather tax documentation and organizational information Review and approve pending client requests to ensure proper authorization and supporting documentation are complete and compliant with policy requirements Support payment processing and operational workflows for donor-related activities Perform quality reviews of completed work to ensure accuracy and data integrity Work across multiple systems and platforms to complete operational tasks efficiently Collaborate with internal teams and business partners to resolve issues and answer policy-related questions Apply business judgment to identify unusual or suspicious activity and escalate concerns when appropriate Maintain adherence to all policies and procedures related to quality, client service, information security, and compliance Assist with special projects and additional operational tasks as needed Qualifications & Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree required; any major accepted Strong fit for recent graduates, including candidates graduating in May/June 2026 Internship, research, customer service, or entry-level sales experience preferred Sociology, research-focused, or analytical academic backgrounds are a plus Capstone research project experience is highly valued Must be comfortable conducting independent research and following up with external organizations Required Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to ask questions, follow up professionally, and gather information effectively Collaborative, team-oriented mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Comfortable working with structured processes and compliance-driven procedures Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required Proficiency in Microsoft Word required Experience using online databases and research tools preferred No coding or programming experience required Work Environment & Additional Requirements Fully onsite position in Cohoes, NY Standard hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Occasional overtime may be required No hybrid or remote flexibility available Local candidates only; no relocation assistance provided
