About the Role:

The Digital Marketing Coordinator role plays a vital role in supporting the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and achieving the strategic marketing goals of the NMFTA. The candidate will be responsible for various tasks, including content creation, event marketing support, and member outreach. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for the transportation industry to gain valuable experience in a dynamic-fast paced environment. This is a hybrid position. Duties include, but are not limited to:


Responsibilities:


Content Creation

  • Assist with development of engaging content (e.g. blog posts, social media content, email campaigns) to promote NMFTA’s programs, products, and events.
  • Assist with developing and executing marketing campaigns to support NMFTA research, whitepapers, industry guides, and other content.
  • Conduct research and gather information to support content creation.
  • Manage and schedule content calendar for various NMFTA marketing channels.
  • Maintain style guides for consistent brand messaging.
  • Work with graphic designer on marketing content and materials.

Event Marketing Support

  • Assist with the marketing and promotion of NMFTA events, including the bi-annual membership meetings and annual Cybersecurity Conference.
  • Develop and manage online registration for events.
  • Create content for marketing materials for event promotion (e.g. email blasts, social media posts, direct mailers, display ads, event landing pages).

Member Outreach

  • Assist with developing and executing marketing campaigns to target and engage NMFTA members and attract new members. · Assist in managing NMFTA’s social media presence.
  • Research and implement strategies to increase member engagement.
  • Assist with creating and distributing member communications (e.g. weekly, monthly, and quarterly newsletters).

Other Duties

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay up to date on industry trends
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Maintain and update databases and CRM systems. · Assist in managing NMFTA website and Cybersecurity Conference microsite.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
  • 2-3 years HubSpot experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Experience with project management software, Monday.com a plus
  • Experience and knowledge of AI tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with social media marketing platforms (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) a plus.
  • Understanding of the trucking/ transportation industry preferred.
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive with a strong work ethic.
