Job description

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

What You'll Do
  • Architect, design, and implement distributed data services to support largescale data processing needs.
  • Lead the orchestration and optimization of high-volume ETL pipelines for timeseries and telemetry data, including end-to-end pipelines critical to flight test programs.
  • Oversee and manage Kubernetes-native autoscaling services to efficiently handle dynamic workloads.
  • Architect and implement data threshold-based alerting pipelines, and partner closely with avionics engineers and cross-functional stakeholder teams to identify critical data features that accelerate data review and analysis.
  • Continuously research, evaluate, and adopt new data ingestion, storage, and retrieval technologies to improve performance, reliability, and scalability of the data platform, transforming raw data into intelligent analytical products.

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Minimum Experience Requirement: Software Engineer, Data Engineer or related job title in which 12 months of experience with Python, AWS, Data Governance, ETL Pipeline, and Docker was gained.
