Job description

The Solomon Law Group is an established boutique law firm located in a Class A professional building near downtown Tampa.  We are committed to excellence in the practice of law, and our goal is to recruit and maintain a workforce of individuals who share our dedication to the highest levels of service and commitment to our clients.  We seek a legal assistant with commercial/civil litigation experience, and place particular emphasis on the following: 

·         Provide administrative support to attorneys in civil litigation department

·         Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, agencies, and the general public

·         Prepare new client matter sheets and open, maintain and close files

·         Prepare correspondence and legal documents

·         E-file documents

·         Locate and develop case relevant information

·         Schedule hearings, depositions, conferences, meetings, etc. and maintain attorneys’ calendars 

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation
  • Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Cloud i.e., OneDrive, Dropbox, and NetDocuments, or similar software
  • Must have the ability to multitask and be a team player
