Maintenance Technician
The Admiral Hotel | Mobile, AL
At The Admiral, we don't just maintain a hotel-we preserve an unforgettable guest experience. We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician who takes pride in solving problems, keeping our historic property operating at its best, and creating a safe, welcoming environment for guests and team members.
Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour
Schedule: Flexible availability for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
What You'll Do
  • Respond to maintenance requests throughout the hotel
  • Perform basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting repairs
  • Complete preventive maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces
  • Troubleshoot equipment and building issues
  • Work closely with Housekeeping and hotel leaders to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning property while following all safety standards
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of maintenance, facilities, or related experience
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with a guest-first mindset
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
