Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Spot Welder to join our manufacturing team. The Spot Welder will be responsible for using specialized welding equipment to join metal components together through the spot welding process. Spot welding involves creating localized welds by applying pressure and electrical current to form a strong bond between metal surfaces. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of spot welding principles, be able to operate spot welding machines effectively, and possess good attention to detail to ensure the quality of welded components.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate spot welding machines to join metal components according to specifications.
  • Position and align workpieces correctly to ensure precise and accurate spot welds.
  • Adjust welding parameters, such as current, time, and pressure, based on material thickness and type.
  • Conduct quality checks on spot welds to detect any defects or imperfections.
  • Maintain spot welding equipment by performing regular inspections and necessary maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production workflow and meet production targets.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or production issues to the supervisor.
