Company Description
The Senior Director of Test & Product Engineering leads the strategy and execution of test and product engineering for power semiconductor modules, power ICs, and controllers supporting data center and high-performance applications. This role owns end-to-end product execution across characterization, qualification, yield ramp, test development, and high-volume manufacturing. The leader ensures delivery of scalable, cost-competitive, and high-quality products through strong cross-functional alignment with Design, Product Line, Quality, Reliability, and Operations.
Job Description
  • The role defines and executes a unified strategy across test and product engineering while leading global teams and establishing scalable processes for new product introduction, yield ramp, and sustaining operations. It requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution to drive predictable delivery and continuous improvement.
  • From a product engineering perspective, this leader owns the full product lifecycle, including silicon bring-up, qualification, ramp, and sustaining. Responsibilities include driving yield ramp and improvement, managing excursions, and optimizing product cost through yield, test efficiency, and manufacturing performance. The role ensures manufacturing readiness, production stability, and resolution of yield issues across fab, assembly, and test. It also owns product KPIs, manages change control processes (ECO/PCN), and partners with design teams on design-for-yield, parametric margining, and specification alignment.
  • From a test engineering standpoint, the role leads development and deployment of wafer sort, final test, and characterization solutions, ensuring strong test coverage while optimizing cost and efficiency.
