Job description

Department: Operations

Reports to: General Manager / Operations Manager

Location: USA + International (high travel)

Job Type: Temp-to-Perm (contract with conversion opportunity)

About the Role

We're hiring experienced Project Manager's & Supervisors (Lube Oil / Oil Flushing) to lead pre-commissioning and commissioning support work on rotating equipment and lube oil systems. You'll own execution in the fieldplanning, crew coordination, vendor management, and client communicationwhile ensuring safety, quality, and schedule are met.

What You'll Do
  • Lead field execution of lube oil flushing / oil flushing scopes (planning through close-out)
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, consumables, and logistics for mobilizations
  • Work directly with client reps to align on scope, schedule, and acceptance criteria
  • Review/execute procedures and support engineering updates/markups as required
  • Track daily progress, resolve issues fast, and provide clear status reporting
  • Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements, permits, JSAs, and company QMS
  • Support RFQs/bids with manpower/equipment planning when needed
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years in oil & gas field services with pre-commissioning/commissioning exposure
  • Proven experience managing flushing scopes (lube oil / hydraulic / seal oil / related)
  • Strong client-facing communication and field leadership
  • Valid driver's license (Class C or equivalent)
  • Able to travel extensively (often 7080%)
Assets (Nice to Have)
  • Mechanical/Chemical Engineering background, EIT/P.Eng.
  • PMP (or equivalent)
  • TWIC, Basic Plus, First Aid
  • Experience reading/marking up P&IDs, isometrics, and vendor drawings
Schedule / Working Conditions
  • Field: typically 12-hour days, rotations vary by project
  • Shop/support when off rotation: MonFri, 85
  • On-call nights/weekends as required; last-minute travel happens

About the Role

We're looking for a Project Manager Start-Up/Commissioning to lead commissioning execution in the field and act as the key link between operations, engineering, and the client. This is a hands-on PM roleheavy coordination, fast decisions, and strong technical awareness.

What You'll Do
  • Lead commissioning/start-up execution across one or more active scopes
  • Coordinate field crews, vendors, equipment, and materials to meet schedule
  • Participate in planning meetings, readiness reviews, and daily coordination calls
  • Manage changes in scope, prioritize work, and drive issue resolution
  • Ensure documentation is accurate (checklists, turnover packs, redlines as required)
  • Maintain strong HSE leadership: permits, JSAs, hazard controls, stop-work authority
  • Provide professional client updates and manage expectations on site
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years in oil & gas field services with commissioning/start-up experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication (client-ready)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willing/able to travel extensively (often 7080%)
Assets (Nice to Have)
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum) or equivalent field depth
  • PMP or formal PM training
  • TWIC, Basic Plus, First Aid (basic or advanced)
  • Experience with pre-commissioning scopes (flushing, blowing, chemical cleaning, testing)
Schedule / Working Conditions
  • 12-hour field days are common; on-call as required
