This position is ideal for security professionals who are adaptable, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional service across multiple client locations. On-call officers play a critical role in maintaining staffing continuity and operational effectiveness by covering last-minute callouts, employee absences, vacations, open shifts, and emergency staffing needs.
Position Details:
  • Position: On-Call Security Officer.
  • Location: Broward County & Miami-Dade County.
  • Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.
  • Employment Type: Flexible / On-Call.
  • Immediate Openings Available.

Position Summary:
The On-Call Security Officer is responsible for providing security coverage at various client sites as assigned by Operations Management and the Dispatch Department. Officers must be available to respond to staffing requests, maintain professionalism at all times, and effectively adapt to different security environments.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide security coverage for last-minute staffing needs and scheduled absences.
  • Perform access control, patrol services, and site-specific security duties.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity reports, and operational documentation.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Dispatch and assigned Operations Managers.
  • Adhere to company policies, client post orders, and operational procedures.
  • Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies, and customer service requests.
  • Utilize computer-based systems for reporting, scheduling, and communication.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid Florida Driver's License.
  • Clean Driving Record.
  • Valid Florida Security Officer Class D License (preferred).
  • Reliable personal transportation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with basic technology applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.

Required Availability:
Candidates must:
  • Be flexible with scheduling.
  • Be available to workdays, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
