Your New Role
  • Work as an Emergency / On-Call Plumbing Technician serving customers throughout Houston, TX

  • Respond to assigned emergency and on-call plumbing service calls, including after-hours calls as scheduled

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot urgent plumbing problems, including leaks, drain stoppages, water pressure issues, fixture failures, piping problems, and water heater issues

  • Quickly identify the source of plumbing problems and determine appropriate repair solutions

  • Repair and replace faucets, toilets, plumbing fixtures, water heaters, piping, valves, drains, and related plumbing components

  • Help resolve urgent plumbing issues efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship and following proper safety procedures

  • Provide plumbing service in commercial, multi-family, residential, and light commercial environments

  • Clearly explain plumbing issues, recommended repairs, and available solutions to customers, property managers, and on-site personnel

  • Complete work orders, service documentation, and job notes accurately

  • Use mobile devices or tablets for dispatching, job updates, and service documentation

  • Maintain communication with dispatch regarding availability, job status, scheduling, and additional work

  • Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety requirements, and company procedures

  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, plumbing equipment, and other service equipment

  • Maintain company-provided tools, equipment, materials, and assigned service vehicles

  • Keep every work area clean and professional before leaving the job site

  • 3+ years of experience as a Plumbing Technician, Service Plumber, or similar plumbing service professional

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance

  • Ability to diagnose urgent plumbing problems accurately and determine appropriate repair solutions

  • Ability to participate in an emergency/on-call schedule and respond to assigned after-hours service calls

  • Experience in commercial, multi-family, residential, or light commercial plumbing environments preferred

  • Ability to read and understand work orders, plumbing diagrams, and technical information

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally during urgent service situations

  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage assigned emergency plumbing service calls

  • Comfortable using mobile devices or tablets for dispatching and job documentation

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

  • Ability to safely operate plumbing hand tools, power tools, and related equipment

  • Current Texas plumbing license or registration appropriate to the work performed, as required by position responsibilities

  • Ability to safely perform the essential physical duties of plumbing service work, including lifting and carrying equipment and materials, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces

  • Ability to safely use ladders and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
