Job description

Our organization is in search of an OB/GYN to provide locum tenens coverage in Ohio.

Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
  • Completion of an OB/GYN residency accredited by ABOG or AOA
  • Possession of an active medical license in Ohio
Schedule & Coverage
  • 24-hour on-call duty
  • Call rotation of 1:4
  • Coverage Dates: From Thursday, June 25, 2026 (7 AM) to Friday, June 26, 2026 (7 AM), with the possibility of additional sporadic coverage thereafter
Practice Details
  • Practice Environment: Clinic/Hospital - On Call - OB/GYN
  • Electronic Medical Records: Meditech Expanse
  • Support Team: Advanced Practice Providers and nursing staff
  • Total Capacity: 45 staffed beds, along with a 20-room Emergency Department
  • Nursery Level: I
Required Obstetrics Procedures
  • Low-Risk Pregnancy Management (including history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, etc.): Yes
  • High-Risk Pregnancy Management (including toxemia, diabetes, Class II+ cardiac issues, chronic lung/renal diseases, etc.): No
  • Fetal Heart Rate Interpretation (NST/CST/FSE): NST & FSE

Ultrasound Responsibilities:

  • Performance and interpretation of ultrasounds
  • Level I/Screening (viability)
  • Level II/Targeted (anatomic)
  • Amniocentesis: Not required
Labor & Delivery Procedures
  • Routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-sections): Yes
  • Complicated deliveries (C-sections, breech presentations, multiples, abruptions, etc.): Yes
  • VBACs: Not applicable
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations: As necessary
