Job Summary:
Alpha Consulting Corp. is seeking a hands-on Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale their cloud-native platform on AWS. The role involves partnering with engineering, security, and AIML teams to deliver self-service infrastructure and automated CICD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
• Administer Linux systems, networking, and security hardening across production fleets.
• Drive observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging.
• Support on-call rotation and improve platform reliability through automation and self-healing.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC) with high availability and cost efficiency.
• Build and operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS) deployments, auto-scaling, service mesh, Helm charts.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible for provisioning and configuration management.
• Write Python automation for platform tooling, APIs, and internal developer services.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
Preferred:
• Build and maintain CICD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or JenkinsArgoCD) for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Embed DevSecOps practices SAST, DAST, container scanning, secret management, policy-as-code.
• Enable MLOps workflows to productionize AIML models (SageMaker, MLflow, Kubeflow).
