Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a seasonal travel assignment requiring DaVinci Robotics familiarity and a 2:30PM-1AM shift.

Details
  • 28-bed OR Surgery unit
  • 1:1 patient ratios
  • Procedures include Orthopedics, GYN, General, Urology, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Plastics, Dental, Eyes, Pediatrics, Spine, Neuro, Trauma, TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci cases
  • Uses DaVinci Robotics (SI, XI, and Mako) equipment
  • EMR system is Meditech / CPN
  • Shift runs 2:30PM to 1:00AM
  • On-call requirements include one late night per week, one 8-hour Saturday shift every 4th week, and one 8-hour call shift per month on a Saturday or Sunday
  • 30-minute response time required for on-call
Requirements
  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN hospital experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Experience with DaVinci Robotics preferred
  • Ortho, neurology, and vascular experience highly preferred
  • Prior Meditech experience preferred
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
  • One professional reference required
Additional Information
  • Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment supporting a wide range of specialties
  • Strong communication with staff and providers is essential to success in this role
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this assignment
  • First-time travelers may be considered for this role
