The Harbor Master oversees the boating and sailing activities in Stillwater Cove.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain order and cleanliness of the pier.
  • Ensure the safety of those using the pier.
  • Operate whaler, stairs, and boat hoist when needed.
  • Oversee sailing program by assisting the instructor.
  • Assist Stillwater Yacht Club with events.
  • Oversee all diving activities, including equipment drop-off and parking.
  • Provide information on weather and tides.
  • Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills:

  • 5 to 10 years of boating and sailing experience.
  • Familiarity with all aspects of boating and sailing including safety, minor repair and tidal conditions.
  • Must be able to swim and lift safely.

Desired Skills:

  • Must be able to interact with members in a professional manner.
