Integrated Media - Remote (U.S. Based)
Operation Blessing (OB) is seeking an On-Call Graphic Designer to transform ideas into compelling visual content that drives awareness, inspires generosity, and supports OB's Biblical mission to extend a helping hand in Christ's name to meet physical and spiritual needs. Serving as an extension of our creative team during periods of increased workload and special initiatives, this flexible, project-based role averages approximately 10 hours a week or more, depending on project needs. You'll create impactful print and digital materials, ensure brand consistency, and collaborate closely with our marketing team to deliver strategic, audience-focused designs that advance our humanitarian mission.
The salary range for this position is $25-$30 per hour. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on a combination of education, relevant experience, and demonstrated skills aligned with the role requirements.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across print and digital media
  • Deep understanding of design principles including layout, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy, with the ability to apply them effectively across various formats
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills, with a demonstrated awareness of current design trends, emerging tools, and visual storytelling techniques
  • Solid knowledge of print production processes, file preparation, and familiarity with mailing specifications and vendor coordination
  • Proficient in photo editing, image retouching and optimizing assets for web and print use
  • Experience using project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com to coordinate creative workflows preferred
  • Familiarity with integrating AI tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, or similar) into the design process to enhance efficiency and innovation preferred
  • Highly motivated and collaborative, with a positive attitude and openness to constructive feedback
  • Flexible with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail
