Job description

Waste Connections is looking to hire aLocal Garbage Truck Driverat our site inAustin, TX. The position will be responsible for driving a Residential Garbage Truck with another driver on specified routes to collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites. This job isextremely physicaltaking turns working on the back of the garbage truck. You will be on a driver/driver team for 6-12 months before having the opportunity to get promoted in to our other routes.

Monday-Friday 6am start time typically working a 10+ hour day.

  • Class A or B CDL
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Excellentcustomer serviceskills
  • Ability to lift 65 lbs throughout a 10+ hour shift.
