Job description

Professional and highly observant Unarmed Protection Specialist providing security support for on-call events, corporate functions, VIP gatherings, conferences, and private venues. Skilled in maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive monitoring, access control, crowd management, and rapid incident response. Adept at de-escalation techniques, customer service, and coordinating with event staff, venue management, and emergency personnel. Maintains a calm and professional presence while ensuring the safety of guests, clients, and assets during high-profile or fast-paced events. Flexible and dependable with the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and schedules.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid Guard Card/Security License required
  • Prior experience in security, event protection, customer service, military, or law enforcement preferred
  • Ability to work flexible, on-call schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
  • Knowledge of crowd control, access control, and emergency response procedures
  • Strong observational and situational awareness skills
  • Ability to de-escalate conflicts professionally and effectively
  • Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
  • Ability to write detailed incident and activity reports
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  • Familiarity with radio communication and basic security technology preferred
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
