Job Description

In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment leading a team of nurses to achieve excellence in providing home care services to Spectrum's patients. Reporting to the Regional Branch Director, you will be responsible for program planning and implementation, and monitoring activities related to home care service delivery.

  • Prepare monthly schedules for nursing field staff, understanding available resources and keeping quality at the forefront of all resource utilization decisions
  • Develop and deliver educational initiatives that support the ongoing development and professional growth of nursing teams
  • Lead program development and design clinical workflows that support new models of care delivery for target populations
  • Collaborate with operations leadership and system partners to leverage clinical expertise in advancing program design and service delivery
  • Lead or assist with the integration of client satisfaction initiatives, ensuring all referred client concerns and complaints are satisfactorily addressed and documented in a timely manner
  • Address quality, safety, and risk management issues in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the development of improvement plans
Qualifications
  • Current CNO certificate as Registered Nurse, degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle as work involves some local travel
  • Willingness to be part of on-call management rotation
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities as a Nursing Manager, preferably in a community setting
  • Solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of community nursing and service delivery to patients as well as program development, implementation and evaluation
  • Experience managing in a union environment
