Roving Leasing Agent (East Side)
Location: East Side Portland, OR (Happy Valley, Clackamas, Gresham, Troutdale)
Company: Carla Properties, Ltd.
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00/hr DOE + $1,000 sign-on bonus, payable after completing 6 months of employment.
Schedule: Full-time, Thursday-Monday (Tues/Wed off), Weekdays 9am-6pm, Weekends 9am-5pm

What You'll Do
As a Roving Leasing Agent, you'll be the face of Carla Properties at our East Side communities, providing coverage and extra support where needed. Your day will be dynamic-greeting visitors, guiding prospects, supporting leasing activities, and ensuring our properties shine. You'll collaborate closely with Resident Managers and help maintain high occupancy and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and inform prospective residents about our communities
  • Guide prospects through applications, rental agreements, and move-in processes
  • Accurately enter data and generate reports using Yardi Voyager & Tenant Tech
  • Resolve resident issues with professionalism and care
  • Oversee office workflow, process move-in/move-out paperwork, and manage rent collection
  • Conduct property inspections and coordinate maintenance as needed
  • Support and motivate onsite staff, assist with hiring and training as requested
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws and Carla Properties' policies
  • Maintain property appearance and safety standards
What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of leasing experience (multifamily preferred)
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Proficiency with computers, MS Office, and ideally Yardi/Tenant Tech
  • Stellar attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work weekends and a flexible, roving schedule
  • Professional, dependable, and confident communicator
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs, climb stairs, and perform office/onsite duties

Position Summary
As a Roving Leasing Agent, you will provide coverage and support to our East Side apartment communities. You'll be the welcoming face for visitors, guide prospects through the leasing process, and ensure our properties are well-maintained and our residents are satisfied. You'll work closely with Resident Managers and play a key role in maintaining high occupancy and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Leasing
  • Greet visitors and provide information about the community
  • Guide prospects through applications, rental agreements, and move-in processes
  • Explain rental policies and answer questions about the property and area
  • Collect rent and other payments, deliver keys, and handle move-ins/outs
  • Resolve resident issues professionally and coordinate with maintenance

Administrative
  • Maintain office operations and perform data entry
  • Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Process move-in/move-out paperwork and post notices

Property Appearance & Maintenance
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure apartments are "rent ready"
  • Oversee the appearance of all property amenities and common areas

Resident Relations
  • Interact with residents in a professional, friendly manner
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws

Staffing Support
  • Assist with hiring, training, and supervising staff as needed
  • Support daily workflow and on-call emergency schedules

Budget & Safety
  • Follow purchasing guidelines and manage stock control
  • Adhere to safety protocols and perform light physical tasks as required
