Job description

Duties Description The incumbent will be responsible for a variety of duties involved in food preparation, event meal planning, and/or the maintenance of an assigned facility. The desired candidate must be comfortable with high level interactions and have the ability to work a variable schedule with on-call capacity to cover special events. Duties include but are not limited to: Prepare and set up for meals, functions, banquets, receptions, and other events.

Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments. Assist with maintaining the orderly storage, care, and inventory of various facility materials. Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility's interior as well as the exterior grounds and property.

Interact with colleagues, customers, and other individuals in a courteous, positive, and professional manner. Maintain a professional work demeanor under demanding conditions and changing deadlines. Perform tasks in an efficient, timely, and safe manner.

Perform other support of operations duties as assigned. Operational Needs: Ability to bend, lift, climb, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Ability to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays with on-call capacity to cover special events. Minimum Qualifications Four years of specialized experience in food service, hospitality, housekeeping, grounds, or a related field. NOTE: IN ORDER TO AWARD THE PROPER CREDIT FOR WORK EXPERIENCE, RESUMES MUST INCLUDE MONTH AND YEAR FOR START AND END DATES.

IF ANY OF THIS EXPERIENCE IS LESS THAN FULL TIME YOU MUST INDICATE THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED PER WEEK. Additional Comments Must have availability Monday - Friday, rotating weekends. Schedule will be discussed during interview.
