Job Summary:


Profound Treatmentis seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our esteemed Clinical Team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients struggling with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual, group, and family therapy. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and maintain the highest ethical standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver comprehensive clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy, to clients and their families. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working with clients facing substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.
  • Conduct thorough Bio/Psycho/Social assessments, provide accurate diagnoses, and develop effective treatment plans. Assist clients with after-care and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Engage with professionals both within and outside the agency to coordinate comprehensive client support.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate client records, ensuring documentation meets DHCS and Joint Commission standards.
  • Participate in on-call emergency consultation and crisis intervention, including after-hours telephone coverage, to provide timely support to clients in need.
  • Attend and actively contribute to team meetings, staff development sessions, and general staff meetings. Stay informed about evidence-based modalities, holistic care approaches, and community recovery resources.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct, maintaining confidentiality and interacting with clients in a therapeutic and responsible manner. Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences.
  • Oversee the efficient operation of the facility, including organizing and executing events, activities, and outings, while strictly adhering to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support the seamless operation of the facility.


Qualifications:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records, organizing and prioritizing tasks, and working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and able to maintain client notes using technology.
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, drive, carry and lift (up to 20lbs
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Able to work in a substance abuse treatment and mental health, with varying indoor and outdoor conditions. Evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required.
  • Ability to provide health and TB clearance, pass a background check, and drug screen.


Education:

  • Master's degree in social work (MSW), Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Currently licensed to practice independently as an LCSW, LMFT, APCC, ACSW, AMFT or Licensed Clinical Psychologist in California, or registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in addiction and dual diagnoses treatment. Proven experience in facilitating the process of therapy groups and working with adults, couples, and families.
